Poland is a Third World Hell Hole

Dysentery376home_thumb I had to get all my shots for Poland today.  I mean, I went to the doctor not thinking I would need any shots because you know, I had kinda thought that Poland was a sort of hip, westernized place and I hadn't needed any shots to go to FREAKING MEXICO where the drinking water runs brown with raw sewage.  Oh but I was wrong. Very, very, very wrong.

I had to get a Hepatitis A shot. I don't know why, maybe there are alot of Chi-Chis in Poland serving green onions from FREAKING MEXICO or something.  Whatever the reason, I am covered.

My doctor also recommended that I get a Hepatitis B shot if I was going to have any "intimate encounters with the locals". Luckily, whether you have any "intimate encounters with the locals" or not, the District of Columbia requires you to have a Hepatitis B shot before enrolling in any secondary school if you are under 26.  So ok, Poland is no worse than DC in that respect.  But if DC is the benchmark for shittiness, then the standard is pretty low.

I was most surprised about having to get a Typhoid vaccine.  Typhoid?  Come again?  What, is this 1875?
